4 out of 5 Stars
This book is about 2 friends and their adventure in the Alaskan
Wilderness. The wild animals and illness are not the only perils they face.
Someone is trying to kill them!
This book was a really enjoyable read, there is adventure,
action, and heart pumping terror! The twists, particularly at the end, were
almost completely unexpected. The characters were easy to relate to and
the story flowed fairly well.
The things I struggled with; The beginning, while well written,
was a bit slow. There were a few details that while interesting did not play
into the plot well and took you away from the flow of the story. The
second thing is that the end had a few spots that threw me off, not knowing
that I was now reading about someone else in a diffrent location. For the most
part, this wasn't a problem so it might have just been my text to speech app
jumping around and missing a transition sentence.
I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a good adventure!
I really enjoyed it even though I was a bit apprehensive when I first received
the ARC. Warnings: There is violence, particularly at the end, and some mild
swearing. There is an attraction between the male and female characters but no
sex nor anything sexual that needs a warning.
